Chocolate Butter Cream
This buttercream recipe is delicious. I could honestly eat it with a spoon, but I don’t think my pants can handle that. Add this to your favorite cake, brownie or cookie for a little extra decadence.
1 ½ stick unsalted butter
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
4 tbs cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
Soften butter at room temperature or 30 seconds on defrost cycle of microwave, but do not melt the butter.
With hand mixer whip butter until smooth.
Add cocoa powder and vanilla. Mix on low to combine.
Slowly add confectioners’ sugar and mix on low until smooth and well blended.
